Zulu Mkhathini dropped a super track for the ladies in celebration of women’s month.


The former Dream-team member who branched out into his solo career last year is back with a brand new single titled Shikisha, ft Moonchild Sanelly who is fresh off collaborating with Beyoncé. Zulu Mkhathini has mentioned that this song is a gift to the ladies as August is Womens month, “This is an opportunity to celebrate our mothers, sisters and daughters through song & dance.” “Shikisha is just a motivation for anyone to shake the negativity away ” – says Zulu, With that being said the beat and energy of the music allows men to join in the fun and shake things up in their lives as well.

Zulu Mkhathini’s solo debut single Uniform with DJ Tira was selected by Supersport as the official theme song for PSL 18/19 season & went to reach over a million views on YouTube penetrating the digital spaces. Thereafter he collaborated with DJ Maphorisa, K.O and Moonchild to produce the killer anthem ‘iWalk Ye Phara’ solidifying him as a solo artist who can hold his own. The song ran the streets, top all charts and introduced Zulu Mkhathini in a new light, where his delivery and vernac raps merged perfectly on Gqom/Dance instrumentals.

“Shikisha” is the brand new single from Zulu Mkhathini’s upcoming album set to drop later this year. The genre free song is a fusion of Gqom, Amapiano, Dance, trap and hip hop.
