What better way to celebrate music and fashion than to merge the Mzansi’s musical legends and upcoming talent? Cotton Fest has it all lined up for you.
2019 has been a great year when it comes to giving us gang FOMO for grabbing tickets to this most anticipated festival. It was announced at a bowling event at The Fun Company in Fourways that the annual Cotton Fest will be taking place in February 2020 and that the line up has the best music offering you can expect.
A little fun competitive spirit was just what everyone needed to announce this amazing line up. We were there, check this out:
Over 100 of South Africa’s finest talent will be featured at this one-day urban music and fashion explosion.
Cotton Fest is back with plans to be even bigger and better from its inaugural event this past January. Cotton Fest showcases the diversities in hip-hop, while fusing the gaps within the different local movements, this is where talents will be merged to create a magical moment in the history of the South African entertainment industry.
SA media giants MTV Base and YFM return as media partners for the 2020 edition to ensure the messaging gets to every corner of the country.
“Cotton Fest is a platform that resonates closely with the YFM brand. We were here in year one and following the success of this year’s festival, it was an obvious we would get behind Riky and his team again. They are 100% in it for the culture and their work represent the voice of young people in the city. Cotton Fest 2020 promises to be bigger and we look forward to growing the brand while supporting the youth as we defy the odds”. said YFM’s Lisa-Marie Modise earlier this week.
