Christopher Nolan Is Back in Time

Finally! The moment we have all been waiting for!!! After 2 years of being M.I.A, our fave, Mr Christopher Nolan has released a snippet of his next movie and it seems like he is once again going with the time bending theme.

As we know Nolan, has always been obsessed with the concept of time. In Memento, he intercuts the narrative with a timeline that flows in reverse, subjectively based on the protagonist’s disorder. In Inception he played with time dilation in dreams; in Interstellar he based time with relation to gravity and even in the Dark Knight trilogy he used a lot of ticking clocks based in real life situations.

On the 19th of December 2019 the Warner Bros. Pictures released a trailer for this action thriller ‘Tenet’. To this day, we are all in awe of the trailer and anticipating the 17th of July!
What we took from the trailer is that John David Washington; who stars as a secret agent, apparently dies and is brought back to the afterlife with the ability to anticipate events that haven’t yet occurred. His mission is to prevent World War III to happen.

As always, Christopher formed an exciting sequence in the trailer that reveals a combination of all his movie structures to generate a new story, based in a local time and manipulation. We see all of this with the reversed scaling of a skyscraper and a car chase that takes place in the trailer and also the dialogue that is placed! With that being said, May we all be on our feet and wait on what Mr Nolan has for us!
