Fashion Moments at the Sun Met 2020 | CARVE AFRICA

#HairMeetsFashion with Kefilwe Mabote and Sarah Langa at this years Sun Met.

The Annual Sun Met took place in Cape Town’s Kenilworth Racecourse on Saturday for the “Africa’s Richest Race Day”. This year’s dress code was ‘African Luxury; here are the familiar faces we know who put this theme together.

Iconic fashion and beauty influencers, Kefilwe Mabote and Sarah Langa embarked on a bold partnership with leading haircare brand TRESemme for this years Sun Met. The influencers showcased some of the hair and fashion trends to keep in mind when preparing for prestigious events like this.

Itโ€™s a common understanding that great hair can give an incredible boost of confidence to walk taller and stronger with whatever one is doing. TRESemme has also partnered with celebrity hairstylist Ceecee to create hairstyles that will complement both Kefilwe and Sarahโ€™s overall looks, allowing them to present a unique flair and elegance on the red carpet; showcasing how #HairMeetsFashion.

In addition to our personal favourite duo coming through with some african prints; Queen B stays standing out because really who can also launch an exclusive Champagne at the Sun Met if not Queen B?

Here’s a look at all our favourites that warmed our hearts at this years Sun Met.

1. Kefilwe Mabote & Sarah Langa

These two outfits are a perfect example of African Modern Chic look. Super cute twinning the blends well with the gold classic colour. Love it

2. Bonang Matheba

Okay so we are loving this cute shimmery green number on Queen B

But wait until she introduce us to the exclusive collection BNG Prestige Reserve Champagne.

Honestly somebody can educate us when Bonang changed to this red sexy dress we love
