Closing the first month of the decade G.H. Mumm paints the city bold red this #MummWeekend.
Local celebs who were in Cape Town this weekend were met with picturesque weather and premium champagne brand, G.H. Mumm, made a splash in the sunny city in true style. After guests and our favourite personalities boarded a luxurious yacht sailed out in Cape Town Harbour for a cruise, Maison Mumm hosted an intimate dinner at bar-bistro, The Stack.
Fashion designer Rich Mnisi, actress Jessica Nkosi, TV personality Ayanda Thabethe and her popular MUA sister Lungile Thabethe, brand influencer Tshepi Vundla and her musician hubby JR along with events darling Precious the Planner, brand influencer Lerato Sengadi and health advocate Dr Sivu enjoyed the lush scenes that were carefully tailored by Mumm for the guests enjoyment.
After embracing on a sea view journey on the smooth waters of Cape Town the bunch headed out to dinner at Cape Town eatery, The Stack, where fine French cuisine and an eclectic African inspired setting set the ideal scene for the dinner themed Afrique Du Luxe. It girl content creators, Sarah Langa and Kefilwe Mabote stayed true to their luxury fashion roots by arriving in glamorous black and gold dresses, each of them personalised their interpretations of this classic colour combination. Fashion designer to African stars Gert-Johan Coetzee joined the table of beautiful guests in a fitted sports luxe outfit with chicly accentuated shoulders adorned in the namesake designers branding. Celeb couple Tshepi Vundla and JR both made visual nods to the patterns of the continent with Tshepi opting for striking head to toe leopard print in a flattering jumpsuit cinched stylishly at the waist with a Gucci belt and JR going for Ghanaian kente print pants.
G.H Mumm brand ambassador, Khotso Mpakanyane shared some insight behind the purpose of the luxurious event in an informative and celebratory toast with guests , “With the turn of the decade having triggered our appreciation for new beginnings, we have been actively celebrating that in the month of January and we thought a Mumm Weekend would be a fitting way to close out the first month of 2020,“ she further emphasis the importance of the guests by adding “Everyone who is at this table represents the best of the G.H. Mumm brand whether in their track record of daring excellence or their ability to stand out in how they express themselves.” And shortly closed off the s=toast with a sweet message for each of them by dedicating the periods toast to each and everyone of them. Where it is was ushering in the new decade or celebrating the refined taste and allure of the brand, G.H Mumm certainly made a magnificent start to the new year, in true G.H Mumm style of course.
