Fashion designers, fashion enthusiasts and hairstylists from near and far were introduced to the latest fashion trends for Autumn/Winter season on the runway. To add some South African flair to the international affair, leading hair care brand TRESemmé partnered with fashion and lifestyle influencers Sarah Langa and Aqeelah Harron to unpack the pivotal role hair plays in completing a runway look  showcased the importance of how women are breaking ground in this highly competitive industry. The brand’s greatest focus is to highlight the surge of woman owning their craft and finding their voice in various male dominant industries. For this reason, TRESemmé NYFW AW20 has been centered around the #PowerYourPresence theme.

Sarah and Aqeelah flexed their street style looks keeping in line with the #PowerYourPresence theme. Both power house fashion influencers had the opportunity of shooting with acclaimed female photographer India Hartford Davis. Here’s a first look at how they dominated the street style.

Sarah Langa twirled in style in the New York City streets in a chic leather black trench coat with a pair of leather bootleg cut trousers to match. She accessorised her black attire with a pair of sleek black sunglasses and a little Louis Vuitton bucket bag and black leather high heel boots. Her loose curls added texture to her streamline outfit.

Aqeelah opted for a softer look showcasing a traditional Autumn/Winter colour palette in a long sleeve brown and yellow polka dot dress. The influencer topped off the outfit with brown knee high suede boots and a large white fur coat to add a glamorous touch. The warm winter outfit was complemented with the big loose curls that framed her face ever so sweetly.
