“Water Into Wine is basically the miracle that Jesus performed, this symbolized that he was able to take something that was normal and turned it into something significant. Which is basically what we feel we did with the song,” explains Dee Xclsv.

Sipho The Gift releases visuals for Boy a chest-thumping cinematic look at a young boy at a crossroad battling to define himself, a story we are familiar with something that most of us young men relate too. Sipho has always tried to redefine manhood outside the traditional, religious and social structure as he is not happy about how it has been presented to him and that is what Boy is about, choosing your own path.

The treatment was written by Sipho himself and directed by Emile Badenhorst of Los Angeles-based production house, CouCous. Emile was recently nominated as one of the top 5 new female directors to watch in South Africa by Between 10and5.

Boy is the second video to be released from Sipho’s critically acclaimed album Indigo. You can watch Boy below.

Marcus Harvey most might not know him, I guess that’s why he went with the title IAM MARCUS HARVEY (You Don’t Know Me Yet) as the title of his debut album. The Johannesburg born musician gained recognition late 2019 when he released a single titled Mosadi which he featured Kaeb. At the age of 21 Marcus dropped his first album early April 2020. Four days into the release of the album it topped Apple music charts. The year started off amazing for young Marcus and we might need him to change the title of his album Marcus Harvey (You Know Me)

Elaine has become South Africa’s rhythm and blues “it” girl even though her sound has elements of Trap Soul and hip hop in it, her debut project Elements has set a new standard for R&B in Mzansi and even globally. Historically the genre has struggled to gain attention in the South African music market but in the internet age anything is possible. Elaine recently dropped her first ever music video from her chart topping single You’re The One and the positive responses travelled all the way from the U.S.

The visuals for the song capture the intimacy of the song and performance scenes with different striking backgrounds that intercut with moments between Elaine and her man. The artist recently broke down the meaning behind the song- “I know you are the one, I mean it doesn’t get deeper than that,” she said and also added, “Imagine someone telling you that you are the one. There are so many people in the world and yet you are the one. That’s why I made it the title of the song cause to me it was like, that’s crazy, I’m actually telling someone that they are the one.”
